DVA T8 is an active three-way system equipped with an 8" woofer, a 6.5" vc 2" midrange and two 1" compression drivers that guarantee linearity and sound impact unprecedented in systems of this size.
With a power of 700 Watts/RMS this system guarantees excellent performance in even very large areas.
The dispersion of the single module is 100° (horiz.) and 15° (vert.) and allows for a wide diffusion of the sound even with the use of a few modules.
Total control of the system is managed via RDNET protocol by the dBTechnologies Network software.
From the rear panel of the module you can also select the equalization by choosing between 9 different presets + 1 user preset that allows you to customize your own equalization and recall it at each subsequent use, even if disconnected from the Network.
In this way, it is possible to adapt the frequency response of the module to the aiming distance and to the coupling with other modules within the same array, optimizing the sound in a balanced and coherent way without the use of any external processor.
Furthermore, the module is equipped with a USB port that allows you to update the firmware and have access to telemetry data such as temperature, hours of use and diagnostics.
Also on the back of the module are the mechanics that allow you to determine the angle between two modules, with steps of 1.5 2 or 2.5 degrees.
Each cabinet is also equipped with an integrated rain cover that protects the electronic parts from rain.
The components and electronics are housed inside a reinforced polypropylene box, further strengthened by a metal structure that limits resonances, optimizing the acoustic response.
The careful choice of neodymium components, box materials and state-of-the-art digital amplification technology determines an unmatched weight/performance ratio: each T8 module weighs only 14.2 kg (31.3 lbs).
We can thus easily assemble arrays of up to 16 elements via the DRK-10 flybar or over 16 elements via the drk 20 flybar, or the motorized version drk20m.
The same flybars can be inverted and used in stacked mode, placed on the stage or hooked above the DVA series subs. Alternatively, 2 or more T8 modules can be mounted on a 35 mm pole via the DSA4 accessory
