JACK

The jack connector is one of the most common and versatile in the audio world. There are two main sizes: the 3.5 mm jack, which is the smaller one and is often found on smartphones, headphones, MP3 players, and portable devices; and the 6.35 mm (or 1/4 inch) jack, which is larger and used in music and professional settings, such as instruments, mixers, and amplifiers.

The jack connector has a cylindrical shape with one or more metal rings separating the contacts, allowing it to transmit stereo (left and right) or mono signals. To connect, simply insert it into the corresponding socket, and it often locks with a click, ensuring a stable connection.
